Owatonna Hospital has been designated as a Level IV trauma center by the Minnesota Statewide Trauma System of the Minnesota Department of Health. This designation verifies that Owatonna Hospital has the expertise and resources to provide quality care to trauma patients. Specialty physicians, nurses and others are standing by 24 hours a day to provide some of the area’s top trauma care.
Our emergency department (ED) medical professionals, including board-certified emergency physicians, emergency-trained nurses and support staff, provide expert care for more than 11,000 patients each year. While a visit to the ED may be a stressful and anxious time, you can trust that our specially trained team is ready to care for you with the most advanced lifesaving equipment and technology available.
Urgent Care
For non-emergency illnesses or injuries, the Owatonna Clinic's Urgent Care Center is located just steps from our Emergency Department.
Urgent Care Hours:
Monday - Sunday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Freeway access allows severely-injured patients from around the area to be taken to Owatonna Hospital quickly and efficiently. Our helicopter landing pad provides easy access for patients transported by air.
